LYCAC’s Structure, Mission Statement, and Action Plan

In the framework of their partnership, IREX and LTA will provide LYCAC with organizational, institutional, and programmatic technical assistance, including support in organizing donor conferences, networking initiatives, fundraising, setting of a strategic development plan, writing
proposals, and setting its internal governance.
 

LYCAC’s mission is to lead the fight against corruption, and curb the impact of corruption on Lebanese youth.
 

The overarching goal of LYCAC is to diminish the level of tolerance youth have to corruption and enhance community participation in the development field and the fight against corruption.
 

More specifically, LYCAC will achieve its goal through the following objectives:
 

- Raising awareness among youth about corruption, its causes, and consequences, as well as their civic rights
- Lobbying Lebanese institutions to implement anti-corruption reforms;
- Acting as an anti-corruption watchdog, undertaking investigation, and exposing individual case;
- Bridging divides among youth
- Designing and implementing ambitious anti-corruption projects in the course of national, regional, and global initiatives.
