Corruption in the educational system in Deir el Ahmar has decreased the possibility for youth to receive a good education in public schools and have resulted in the fact that some of them drop out at an early age. In an attempt to introduce change, the project will allow young university and secondary school students to voluntarily help younger students achieve good results in different subjects by giving them private lessons. These lessons will target a large number of students, will discourage early school dropouts, and will create a culture of volunteerism in the area.
